Job description

Apptronik is a human-centered robotics company developing AI-powered robots to support humanity in every facet of life. Our flagship humanoid robot, Apollo, is built to collaborate thoughtfully with people, starting with critical industries such as manufacturing and logistics, with future applications in healthcare, the home, and beyond.

We operate at the cutting edge of Applied AI, applying our expertise across the full robotics stack to solve some of society's most important problems. You will join a team dedicated to bringing Apollo to market at scale, tackling the complex challenges like safety, commercialization, and mass production to change the world for the better.

JOB SUMMARY

The Strategy & Operations Associate is a high-potential generalist in Customer Transformation & Deployments (CTD), the team that owns commercial strategy, transformation and deployments, pricing, competitive insights, and market expansion. Acting as the team’s analytical pinch hitter, you will pick up the most urgent problem, structure it from first principles, run the analysis, and deliver a clear recommendation that shapes pricing, deals, and strategy. This is a development role by design, with a path to leading a vertical and broad executive exposure, and it is built for someone who thrives in ambiguity and learns fast.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES or KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES

  • Build models and fact bases for pricing and deal economics, ROI/business cases, market sizing, and use case prioritization.
  • Structure ambiguous questions into hypotheses, test them with data, and deliver clear, actionable recommendations.
  • Maintain data templates and KPI tracking so insights are repeatable across engagements.
  • Flex across commercial strategy, deal analysis, pricing, and competitive insights based on business priority.
  • Own discrete workstreams end-to-end, such as competitor profiles, pricing inputs, and healthcare value chain mapping.
  • Connect cross-vertical patterns to sharpen decisions across the Customer Transformation team.
  • Support engagements and transformation-led sales cycles with analysis, value sizing, and KPI definition.
  • Prepare leadership and board content; track quarterly KPIs and flag risks early.
  • Feed engagement learnings into playbooks, pricing, and competitive intelligence.
  • Rotate across one primary and one support vertical (reassessed quarterly) to build range across insights, pricing, delivery, healthcare, and strategy.

SKILLS AND REQUIREMENTS

  • First-principles thinker who structures ambiguous problems, builds models from scratch, and pressure-tests assumptions.
  • Strong quantitative skills, including advanced Excel/Sheets; SQL or BI a plus.
  • Ability to produce executive-ready materials and clear recommendations.
  • Exposure to pricing, market sizing, competitive analysis, or customer transformation.
  • Self-starter comfortable switching context and influencing without authority.
  • Interest in healthcare, manufacturing, or logistics a plus; AI/robotics experience a plus, not required.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE

  • 2–4 years of experience in management consulting (Associate to Senior Associate), strategy & operations, BizOps, finance, or a comparable analytical role.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

  • Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer
  • Must be able to lift 15 pounds at times
  • Vision to read printed materials and a computer screen
  • Hearing and speech to communicate
  • Occasional travel to and within client sites (i.e., factories, hospitals, etc.)

*This is a direct hire. Please, no outside Agency solicitations.
