Job description
We are looking for a Human Resources Generalist to support a sizable and fast-growing R&D engineering organization in Taiwan. In this role, you should be passionate about enabling success through people and comfortable crafting and accomplishing HR strategies that help us staff, onboard, develop, and retain top engineering talent.
You will be doing:
- Support engineering groups with a global footprint and a high-reaching growth.
- Build strong, trusted partnerships with engineering leaders to implement tailored HR plans and programs aligned with business goals.
- Collaborate closely with global functional HR CoEs to ensure flawless, localized support.
- Support key employee lifecycle achievements, including salary planning, salary action approvals, relocations, promotions, and job re-leveling.
- Handle employee relations matters with insight and clarity, guiding leaders through performance management and cascading global policies locally.
- Participate in the global program build and roll-out of HR initiatives.
What we need to see:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in HR, Business Administration, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- 5+ years of client-facing HR experience, ideally within a fast-paced technology or R&D environment.
- Competence: Strong analytical skills with an emphasis on HR data; sophisticated Excel capabilities and hands-on proficiency with modern HRIS platforms (such as Workday).
- Deep knowledge in at least two core HR subject areas (e.g., employee relations, compensation, learning & development, compliance, or recruitment).
- Proven track record to navigate cross-functional organizational structures and manage sophisticated projects with agility.
Ways to stand out from the crowd:
- A natural ability to build trust and connect with diverse engineering client groups across all levels.
- Comfort operating with high autonomy and responding to change with constructive, creative solutions rather than rigid processes.
- Outstanding verbal and written communication skills, with a knack for translating data into actionable insights.
- A demonstrable track record of getting results and resolving people matters in a highly collaborative, multicultural setting.
