AI and your future
The big idea: Lots of different jobs work with AI, not just coding. Reading, math, curiosity, and kindness all help.
Many kinds of AI jobs
People with many different skills work with AI. For example:
- Scientists who invent new kinds of AI.
- Engineers who build apps, chips, and computers.
- Electricians and technicians who keep giant computer buildings, called data centers, running.
- Designers who make AI tools easy to use.
- Lawyers and policy experts who help write rules for AI.
- Testers who look for problems and help keep AI safe.
Skills that help
You can start building these skills now:
- Reading and writing clearly.
- Math, especially patterns and numbers.
- Asking good questions and checking answers.
- Working with others and being kind.
- Coding, if you like building things.
