USASI

Weekly email

The USASI weekly

New catalog entries, releases, license changes, and corrections, once a week.

What each issue contains

One email a week that sums up what changed in the catalog:

  • New records. Organizations, open models, and tools added that week, each linked to its page.
  • News. Releases, license changes, ownership, and governance updates from the week's news items.
  • Corrections. What was wrong and what changed, from the changelog.
  • New things to learn. Explainers and reference pages added to Learn.

Every item links to a page on this site where each statement cites its source. The email follows the same evidence rules as the catalog: no funding figures, valuations, prices, benchmark scores, or rankings.

How issues are made

An issue adds no new claims. It is assembled from what was already published on this site that week, so anything in it can be checked on the linked page, with its sources. Like the news, issues are prepared with an AI assistant. See how news works and the review levels for what has and hasn't been checked by a person.

When it arrives

Once a week. A week with nothing new gets no issue.

Signing up and leaving

Signup happens on the website of beehiiv, the email provider. This website does not collect, store, or see email addresses. Every issue ends with an unsubscribe link; one click removes you. Replies to an issue reach usasihq@gmail.com.

The postal address in each email's footer belongs to beehiiv.

Privacy

beehiiv holds your address under its own terms and privacy policy. Like most email services, it measures whether an email was opened and which links were clicked. USASI does not share subscriber information with sponsors. More on the privacy page.

Sponsors

Sponsor messages, if an issue has any, are labeled "Sponsored." Payment never affects what the catalog lists or how an issue covers anything, and when a sponsor is listed in the catalog the issue says so next to any mention of it. See the sponsorship policy.

Without email

Every news item is in the RSS feed linked at the top of this page, which needs no signup, and every change to the site is in the changelog. Once issues go out, past ones can be read on the newsletter's page at usasihq.beehiiv.com (external site: usasihq.beehiiv.com).

Support Us

Help keep USASI useful.

Find the catalog useful? Leave an optional tip to support its upkeep. Tips never affect listings, coverage, or openness assessments.

Optional. No USASI account required. Payment takes place on the linked provider’s website (Buy Me a Coffee).
