Anthropic adds dynamic workflows to Claude Managed Agents in beta
Anthropic's Claude Platform release notes, in an entry dated October 9, 2026, say a Claude Managed Agents agent can now use dynamic workflows, in beta with the managed-agents-2026-04-01 beta header. The notes describe a workflow as a program that runs many agents in phases and combines their results, which the server runs in the background as a workflow run. Developers turn the feature on through the agent's multiagent field and follow each run through workflow_run events on the session's event stream. This is a feature of Anthropic's hosted service, not an open-source or open-weight release, and USASI has not tested it.1
