Reflection AI releases the Beam model weights on Hugging Face under Apache 2.0

Event: · Published:

On October 16, 2026 Reflection AI said it had released the weights of Beam, which it calls its first open-weight model, on Hugging Face under an Apache 2.0 license. The Beam-1.0-501B-A23B model card lists the apache-2.0 license, describes a sparse mixture-of-experts model with 501B total and 23B active parameters and a 1M-token context window, says Beam takes text input and generates text output, and says it was developed predominantly for English. Reflection says the weights come in BF16, FP8, and NVFP4 formats along with a speculative decoding drafter model. USASI has not tested Beam.12
