Mazin Gilbert is the Executive Director of the Agentic AI Foundation (AAIF), the Linux Foundation home for open agentic AI projects such as the Model Context Protocol, goose and AGENTS.md. Gilbert's Linux Foundation biography describes earlier engineering leadership at Google and AT&T and a role in founding several open-source networking and AI projects.132

Career

Gilbert's Linux Foundation biography describes more than 25 years of taking AI work from research to large-scale deployment. Before AAIF, Gilbert was Director of Engineering for Google Distributed Cloud AI/ML and, at AT&T, VP of Network Analytics and Automation, building production machine learning, generative AI and agentic AI platforms.3
